Bird Watching Holidays
There are quite a few species which are likely to occur outside the lodges, in the woodland or around the pond but whose presence hasn’t actually been confirmed as yet.
Look and listen out for tree sparrows, chiffchaffs, reed buntings and owls. Redpoll may be spotted feeding in trees along with siskins.
Watch out for sparrowhawks hunting along the woodland edge or an oystercatcher or gull passing through. Around the pond, you might find different species of duck or perhaps coots utilising the habitat.
During the winter months, keep your eyes peeled for bramblings feeding in the area.
If you see any birds not listed, please make a note of them and when and where they were seen and leave it in your lodge. We can then add it to the list! Thank you.
